We have an exciting opportunity for a talented YouTube Video Editor to join our team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for creating compelling, high-quality video content that aligns with the vision of Jordan Platten (https://youtube.com/jordanplatten), a key influencer in the digital marketing space. This is a full-time role so you must cease all freelance or other agency work.

Key Responsibilities:

? Execute video edits that are simple yet impactful, ensuring each element serves a purpose, much like the minimalistic excellence of Apple.
? Manage large video files, sometimes exceeding 100GB, requiring robust hardware and high-speed internet capabilities.
? Ensure consistent and transparent communication regarding task completions and deadlines.
? Work independently, taking bold initiative and embodying extreme ownership of all projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

?? Strong technical setup including a fast computer with ample RAM and storage, and high-speed internet for efficient file handling.
?? Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Frame.io, and Slack.
?? Proven experience in both long-form and short-form video edits.
?? An understanding of basic video editing principles such as storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention.
?? Ability to apply feedback effectively without repeated reviews.
?? Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

?? Familiarity with Jordan Platton's work or willingness to research before the interview.
?? Experience working with known YouTubers; portfolio submission required.
