- Is familiar with key Youtube metrics, such as retention, clickthrough rate, etc.
About the projects:
I’m a part-time digital nomad and traveler from the United States. I’m starting to make videos in the travel niche, from inspirational travel vlogs to informational talking-head content and more. I’ve begun interviewing other digital nomads and travelers to dive into their story and how they live as a digital nomad.
Duties for each video:
- The videos should be pretty raw, minimal, and relatively quick to edit (especially compared to travel vlog style videos)
- Clean up video, editing out unneeded segments and mess-ups
- Edit an engaging 10-30 second intro to each video, teasing the most interesting parts of the interview
- Add accurate and well-timed subtitles to the video in an .srt file
- Cut between multiple camera angles when appropriate (when multiple angles are provided)
- Incorporate edit feedback
Benefits and perks:
- Video-based pay, meaning higher earning potential
- Generous bonuses based on video/SEO performance
- Flexible work hours – work whenever you want! We will mostly communicate through asynchronous channels
- Consistent work (I already have 4 videos filmed and ready to be edited, with more on the way)
- Quick pay upon project completion
- Potential to work on other video styles if interested
