About the Role:
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and edit engaging YouTube videos. The ideal candidate should be skilled in cutting, pacing, adding effects, animations, and storytelling to create highly engaging content that keeps viewers watching.

Responsibilities:
Edit YouTube videos (8–20 min) with smooth cuts, engaging transitions, sound effects, and animations.
Maintain the brand’s visual style, pacing, and storytelling.
Add subtitles, graphics, and motion effects to enhance engagement.
Source and edit stock footage, b-roll, and music as needed.
Optimize video pacing for retention and engagement (hook, storytelling, and CTA placement).
Color grading and audio mixing to improve overall video quality.
Stay updated on YouTube editing trends, viral content, and best practices.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in video editing, specifically for YouTube content.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
Strong understanding of YouTube content pacing and engagement tactics.
Ability to repurpose long-form content into short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
Good eye for design, typography, and motion graphics.
Strong storytelling skills and ability to retain audience attention.
Ability to work with fast turnaround times and meet deadlines.
Fluent in English (for communication and understanding video context).

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):
Experience editing YouTube content in niches like finance, business, tech, lifestyle, or entertainment.
Knowledge of YouTube SEO and thumbnail design.
Experience working with YouTube automation channels.
