ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Video Editor you'd be performing such duties as;

- Post production
- Video editing
- Audio mixing
- Motion graphics and overlays
- Graphic design

This position is fully remote, just like the rest of our company. We collaborate through email, online project management software, and ZooUpgrade to see actual infoeting sessions - plus actual in person meetings, when we can!

Pay starts at $4 per hour, with additional pay based on tenure and experience.

We are looking for persons to work approx. 20-40 hours per week, ongoing. This is not a temporary position, and we have opportunities for long term growth and advancement.



WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a few good people to join our team as Video Editors.

You should be savvy in social media, knowing about the latest and popular apps, and how they are used, specifically regarding photo/video content.

You should be familiar with programs such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, Divinci Resolve, or similar.

It's assumed you'll have an understanding of timing, pacing, and continuity.

You should be creative, have a good eye for visual design, and understand color grading. We're hoping to be impressed by your social media profiles, reels, and portfolio examples!

Most work is task-driven, so you’ll need to work well off tasks lists and within a project management system (task lists, due dates, messaging, and similar).

You will be working in multiple projects and client accounts, so you should be detail orientated and an organized person.

Following through on communications and instructions is a must, given the remote nature of the position!

You should strive to learn more, want to improve, and have a purposeful direction in your career goals.

Being creative is important. Both in a sense of art an expression, but also in the context of problem solving and moving forward to accomplish goals.

Finally, and maybe most importantly, you should be a nice person who wants to be part of a like-minded team!
