YouTube Growth Strategist (Experienced)

We are a fast-growing company with a YouTube channel that needs a strong, strategic leader to drive growth. Our content includes live events, faceless videos, AI-generated videos, and general training videos. While we have a solid foundation, we’re looking for a YouTube expert to refine our approach, optimize old content, and implement a strategic vision for new content and long-term growth.

Job Overview:
We need an experienced YouTube strategist who knows the ins and outs of YouTube’s algorithm and can lead the way in optimizing, growing, and monetizing our channel. This is NOT an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who can come in with a game plan, execute, and deliver results. You’ll work alongside our content creators, video editors, and marketing team to increase reach, engagement, and subscribers.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Implement a Growth Strategy – Create a data-driven roadmap to grow our channel and increase audience engagement.
Optimize Existing Content – Audit and refine past videos (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, SEO, etc.) for better visibility.
New Content Strategy – Plan and guide future video content based on what performs best.
YouTube SEO & Analytics – Ensure content is search-optimized, analyze performance metrics, and provide actionable insights.
Engagement & Monetization Strategies – Implement strategies to boost views, watch time, and audience retention while identifying monetization opportunities.
Trend Analysis & Adaptation – Stay updated with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Collaboration & Leadership – Work with the social media manager, content team, providing clear direction and leading the way forward.
Qualifications:
? Proven Experience: 3+ years of successful YouTube strategy and channel growth experience.
? YouTube SEO & Algorithm Expertise: Deep knowledge of ranking factors, video tagging, keyword research, and analytics.
? Content Strategy Development: Experience creating and executing long-term YouTube growth plans.
? Performance Tracking & Optimization: Ability to analyze data and pivot strategies based on insights.
? Leadership Skills: Able to take charge and lead our team toward growth.
? Platform & Tool Proficiency: Experience with YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy, VidIQ, and analytics tools.
? Creative & Analytical Thinking: Ability to blend creativity with data-driven decision-making.
