JOB OVERVIEW

Hello,

I am looking for a research assistant to help me with my YouTube Channel focused on documentaries.

The key activities you will be doing

- finding the interview clips, speeches and news caster clips assoioated with specific
- finding the sources for specific parts of the video script within news publications and videos
- finding specific quotes and headlines within news articles
- researching script storyline ideas for factual information
- finding specific clips of footage related to specific scenes in the documentaries

Along with other research items I would like to gather during the script writing process.

If you want to apply for the job then I would ask you do this first short trial task in your reply.

Please find me the best 2-3 interview clips from Jensen Haung (CEO of Nvidia) that fit this exact section of the documentary (see quoted section below). And please explain why you think they are good fit.

ANYONE WHO DOES NOT COMPLETE THIS PART OF THE PROCESS WILL NOT GET A REPLY FROM ME ABOUT THE JOB.

"Jensen Huang’s first big product release had been a complete failure. Curtis Priem, who had been serving as Nvidia’s hardware architect since co-founding the company, fell on his sword and resigned from the post. The three co-founders got together and argued over what should be done next.

More than anything, Jensen knew they first needed to find money — and fast. The Sequoia funding had dried up and Nvidia was on the brink of bankruptcy.

So Jensen approached Sega one last time. This time, he went straight to an old ally, the CEO of Sega America, Irimajiri-san (iem-a-jiri -son) who was key in ensuring the initial partnership between Sega and Nvidia became reality.

But after their last project together had failed, Jensen didn’t expect to find support from his former business partner.

Regardless, he knew he had to exhaust all his options, just in case.

Which is why he was completely surprised when Irimajiri-san said yes, writing Jensen a check for $5 million, and single-handedly giving Nvidia one final chance.

On the way back home, Jensen knew they had to change strategy immediately.

He realized that they no longer had an X-factor of being a new hot name and were starting from years behind the competition. There were already two other established companies eating up most of the computer graphics market — ATI and 3dfx.

Meaning if Nvidia wasn’t fast, there wouldn’t be anything left."
