YouTube Channel Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented YouTube Channel Manager to oversee the end-to-end production and management of our growing channel. The role requires working with an AI-based video editing software while ensuring collaboration with scriptwriters, thumbnail designers, and voice actors to produce high-quality, engaging basketball content.

The Channel Manager will be responsible for delivering a minimum of 2 high-quality videos per day, maintaining standards, optimizing performance, and driving channel growth.

Responsibilities
1. Content Workflow Management:
• Oversee the production of 2+ videos daily using AI editing software.
• Coordinate with scriptwriters, voice actors, and thumbnail designers to ensure timely delivery and seamless content production.
• Quality-check every video before upload to ensure accuracy, consistency, and entertainment value.
2. Performance Optimization:
• Optimize titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and tags for SEO and engagement.
• Use tools like YouTube Analytics, VidIQ, or TubeBuddy to analyze video performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve audience retention, click-through rates (CTR), and watch time.
3. Team Coordination:
• Act as the main point of contact for the creative team:
• Scriptwriter – ensure engaging, accurate scripts.
• Voice Actor – coordinate high-quality audio recordings.
• Thumbnail Designer – oversee attention-grabbing thumbnail production.
• Ensure all team members meet deadlines and maintain the channel’s quality standards.
4. Content Strategy and Planning:
• Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent uploads and seasonal relevance.
• Suggest new video ideas, formats, and viral opportunities based on audience trends.
• Ensure alignment with the channel’s creative vision and brand tone.
5. Quality Assurance:
• Use the AI video editing software efficiently and ensure the output matches professional quality standards.
• Troubleshoot any issues with the software and ensure smooth content processing.
6. Audience Engagement:
• Respond to comments and engage with the community to build loyalty.
• Work on strategies to grow subscribers and increase interaction, including polls, giveaways, or community posts.

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a YouTube Channel Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm and best practices for video optimization.
• Ability to work with AI-based video editing tools.
• Excellent team management skills for coordinating writers, designers, and voice actors.
• Basic knowledge of video workflows and quality-check processes.
