Xactimate Estimator

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Xactimate Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Xactimate software for construction estimating. This role involves creating accurate and detailed estimates, ensuring all aspects of the project are considered, and supporting the team with expert knowledge of Xactimate.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize Xactimate software to develop precise estimates for various construction projects.
Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data and understand project scope.
Analyze bids and proposals from subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Update and refine estimates based on project changes and new information.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and clients.
Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts.
Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and trends.
Provide training and support to team members on Xactimate software usage.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Xactimate Estimator with deep expertise in using Xactimate software.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
