Role Overview:
We are seeking a part-time WordPress Website Developer who is skilled in creating and maintaining WordPress websites. This role will initially require a commitment of 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and company needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL, along with experience in building custom integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
Write clean, well-documented code using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Implement custom integrations and plugins to enhance website functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the team to ensure website projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Continuously seek ways to improve business processes and workflow.
Proactively find tasks and improvements when immediate work is not available.
Strive to become a lead developer and consistently level up skills.
Create, analyze, update, and read Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure mobile-first development, making sure work is both mobile-responsive and desktop-responsive.
Manage email and calendar effectively.
Leverage internal tools like Slack and ClickUp for communication and project management.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with custom integrations and plugin development.
Strong understanding of responsive web design and development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-starter and go-getter attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong desire to take on leadership roles and improve skills continuously.
Meticulous in checking work, requiring minimal supervision to ensure quality.
Excellent English skills and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
Experience using platforms like the Events Calendar, GiveWP, WooCommerce, Elementor, Beaver Builder, and more.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with API connections and integrations.
Familiarity with landing page builders such as ClickFunnels or GoHighLevel.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
