WordPress Web Designer

We are looking for a talented WordPress Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, strong technical skills, and experience building and maintaining websites using WordPress. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites that align with client needs and company goals. In this role, you will collaborate with our marketing, content, and development teams to deliver high-quality web experiences that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress
•Customize themes, templates, and plugins to meet specific design and functionality requirements
•Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for all devices
•Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project goals, timelines, and deliverables
•Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search rankings
•Conduct regular updates, backups, and security checks on WordPress sites
•Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs and performance problems
•Ensure that websites adhere to industry best practices for accessibility, usability, and performance
•Optimize website performance through the use of caching, image compression, and other techniques
•Stay up to date with the latest WordPress developments, tools, and design trends

Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a WordPress Web Designer or in a similar role
•Strong understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and custom post types
•Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
•Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
•Experience with SEO and performance optimization techniques
•Strong eye for design, layout, and user experience (UX)
•Ability to troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions quickly
•Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other design tools is a plus
•Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
•Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a WordPress Web Designer
•A portfolio showcasing your work on WordPress websites
