WordPress Developer with SEO and Tracking Expertise

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with a solid understanding of SEO and tracking solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites, with the ability to implement advanced SEO strategies and tracking tools for better performance and user insight.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

Build and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and functionality.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet the specific needs of the website.
Ensure the website is fully responsive and optimized for all devices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, or custom code.

SEO Implementation:

Apply on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing metadata, images, content, and URL structure for better search engine rankings.
Ensure technical SEO aspects are handled, such as site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and schema markup implementation.
Implement SEO tools and plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, RankMath) to optimize the website’s organic search performance.

Tracking and Analytics Implementation:

Implement and configure Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools to monitor and measure website performance.
Track and optimize performance across iframes, ensuring proper tracking of user interactions and conversions within embedded content.
Set up custom events, goals, and eCommerce tracking to capture key user behaviors and performance metrics.
Ensure tracking scripts and codes are correctly placed within WordPress themes and plugins, especially in dynamic areas like forms, pop-ups, and embedded iframes.

Content Integration & Maintenance:

Collaborate with the content team to ensure content is properly integrated into the WordPress site, with SEO-friendly URLs, meta descriptions, and headers.
Update content and images regularly to maintain freshness and SEO relevance.

Site Optimization and Maintenance:

Optimize website speed by reducing load times, optimizing images, caching, and minifying code.
Regularly update the WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure security and performance.
Troubleshoot any performance issues related to plugins, themes, and external services, and resolve them promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:

WordPress Expertise:

Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, and familiarity with popular WordPress builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
Strong understanding of WordPress security, maintenance, and optimization best practices.
Experience with WordPress multisite setup and management.
SEO Knowledge:

Strong experience in on-page SEO, technical SEO, and tools such as Yoast SEO, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
Knowledge of how to optimize WordPress sites for site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.

Tracking & Analytics:

Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and event tracking for WordPress sites.
Experience setting up and troubleshooting tracking for iframes and embedded content.
Ability to work with data layers and configure custom tracking events in WordPress.

Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end customization.
Experience with PHP for custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
Familiarity with web hosting environments, FTP, and managing server-side settings for optimal WordPress performance.

Attention to Detail:

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for ensuring all SEO best practices are implemented on the site.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any tracking issues, especially with complex elements like iframes.

Collaboration & Communication:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Ability to explain technical SEO concepts and tracking methods to non-technical teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.
