Role Summary
-We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins while ensuring optimal performance, security, and responsiveness. This role requires expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, ACF, and PHP, along with strong front-end skills. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and developers to create seamless user experiences while adhering to the latest WordPress best practices.

Key Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain websites for international clients using WordPress, WooCommerce, and ACF.
-Work with clients and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to identify and implement custom features and functionality.
-Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
-Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to WordPress coding standards and best practices.
-Optimize website performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
-Collaborate with designers and developers to create seamless, high-performance user experiences.
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, security patches, and third-party plugin updates.
-Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior developers on the team.
-Participate in team calls and project meetings and provide updates on development tasks.
-Maintain accurate records of work and track time using time-tracking software.

Required Skill Set & Technologies
-Core PHP & MySQL development.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
-Expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, ACF, WordPress Codex, and PHP.
-Proficiency in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
-Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
-Experience working with build tools such as NPM, Gulp, Webpack, and Sass.
-Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
-Working knowledge of multilingual and multisite WordPress installations.
-Familiarity with version control systems (Git) for collaborative development.
-Ability to create eCommerce websites using WooCommerce (preferred but not required).
-Knowledge of DNS settings, CDNs, SSL configurations, and website performance tools (WP Rocket, Cloudflare, Perfmatters).
-Strong passion and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 & 2.1).
-Experience integrating third-party APIs.
-Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.

Bonus Qualifications
-A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
-Experience with headless WordPress development (REST API, GraphQL).
-Experience in automated deployment workflows.
-Strong understanding of SEO best practices related to WordPress development.
-Experience with React.js
