Door & Gate Domination is a results-driven digital agency specializing in custom website design, development, and online marketing. We are looking for a Website Project Manager to oversee web development projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution, clear communication, and timely delivery.
Role Overview:
The Website Project Manager will take ownership of web projects, guiding them through planning, execution, and deployment while keeping them on track in terms of budget, timeline, and quality. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management & Execution
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource plans to ensure smooth execution.
- Assess and define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Identify potential risks before the project begins and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor project hours, budget, and team performance to ensure efficiency.
- Oversee resource allocation, preventing overuse or underutilization.
- Ensure all project-related files, reports, and documentation are well-organized and up to date.
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the web development team.
- Promote collaboration and efficiency within the team.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and workload distribution.
- Conduct quarterly and semi-annual performance reviews and recommend salary adjustments as needed.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to tea
- Communicate any team concerns or challenges to management.
3. Monitoring & Reporting
- Continuously refine department processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure smooth handoff of completed projects by providing training and documentation.
- Generate reports on project status, risk management, budget tracking, and team capacity.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and Account Managers, ensuring clear communication on project scope, deadlines, and client expectations.
- Conduct basic web development training for Account Managers to facilitate smooth coordination.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics to track project success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing web development projects with an understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML5, CSS3); knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, or Ajax is a plus.
- Understanding of SEO, content accessibility, and website performance best practices.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, mobile optimization, and analytics tools is preferred.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Comfortable using time tracking tools and productivity management.
