JOB OVERVIEW

The Website Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a job portal
website. This role involves front-end and back-end development, database integration, user
experience optimization, and ensuring a seamless, secure, and responsive platform for job seekers
and employers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Development & Design
? Develop a responsive and user-friendly job portal website using modern web technologies.
? Implement front-end designs with clean UI/UX for job seekers and employers.
? Ensure mobile compatibility and cross-browser functionality.

2. Back-End Development & Database Integration
? Build a secure database to store job listings, employer profiles, and job seeker applications.
? Develop APIs and integrations for seamless communication between job listings, user profiles,
and applications.
? Set up candidate and employer dashboards with real-time updates and notifications.

3. Job Posting & Application System
? Enable employers to post job listings, manage applications, and communicate with candidates.
? Create an automated job-matching system based on keywords, skills, and qualifications.
? Implement filtering, sorting, and search functionality for users to find relevant jobs easily.

4. Security, Compliance, & Performance Optimization
? Ensure data privacy and GDPR compliance in storing user information.
? Implement cybersecurity measures to prevent hacking, data leaks, and unauthorized access.
? Optimize website performance for fast loading speeds and smooth navigation.

5. Third-Party Integrations & Automation
? Integrate payment gateways (if job postings require paid subscriptions).

? Set up social media and LinkedIn integrations for job sharing.
? Enable AI-based resume parsing to extract and organize job seeker information efficiently.

6. Ongoing Maintenance & Technical Support
? Monitor website performance and fix bugs or glitches.
? Update features and functionalities based on user feedback.
? Provide technical support for employers and job seekers experiencing issues.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, or React.js for front-end and back-end
development.

Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Laravel, etc.) and database management (MySQL,
PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of cloud hosting services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Experience with SEO optimization and website security best practices.

Job Portal Experience (Preferred):

Familiarity with job board platforms, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), or HR tech solutions.

Experience with API integrations for job aggregators (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders (HR, recruiters, clients).

Good communication and project management skills.
