KAM is a U.S.-based marketing and web design agency serving United States-based service businesses. We specialize in high-converting websites, branding, and digital marketing solutions for industries such as home services, trades, and professional service businesses.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Web & Graphic Designer to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong design portfolio, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of modern web and branding design principles.
This role starts as per project-based work for the first 90 days. After a successful trial period, we will discuss transitioning into a consistent part-time role (10-30 hours per week).

Role Overview
As a Web & Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality website layouts, UI elements, logos, branding materials, and other digital assets. You will work closely with our web development team to produce modern, mobile-responsive, and conversion-focused designs.

The ideal candidate must have:
• 3+ years of experience (5-8 years preferred) in web and graphic design.
• Very high English proficiency in both speaking and writing (email & chat).
• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Key Responsibilities
• Web Design: Create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups using Figma (preferred) or Adobe XD.
• Branding & Graphic Design: Design logos, business cards, social media headers, and brand assets.
• Image Editing: Source, edit, and enhance stock photos and AI-generated images to match a U.S.-based client audience.
• Typography & Color Selection: Ensure font pairing and color schemes align with brand identity.
• Website Optimization: Design for mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and conversions.
• Collaboration: Work with our web development team to implement and refine designs.
• Project Management: Use ClickUp to track projects, communicate tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Industry Research: Stay updated on web design trends, UI/UX best practices, and branding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in web and graphic design (5-8 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in:
- Figma (preferred) & Adobe XD.
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
• High English proficiency (speaking & writing via email/chat).
• Familiarity with WordPress (Astra, Spectra, Divi) and basic HTML & CSS knowledge is a plus.
• ClickUp experience (or willingness to learn it quickly).
• Ability to meet deadlines & maintain quality under tracked performance metrics.
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
• Hourly Rate: $8 - $15 per hour USD (based on experience).
• Performance-Based Bonuses for completing high-quality work ahead of schedule.
• 13th-Month Pay for contractors who convert to part-time after the 90-day trial period.

Work Structure & Trial Period
First 90 Days (Trial Period):
• Work will be assigned per project (not guaranteed hours).
• Performance will be evaluated based on design quality, responsiveness, and ability to meet deadlines.

After 90 Days:
• Potential transition to a consistent part-time role (10-30 hours per week).
• Bonuses for exceptional performance on tracked projects.

Work Environment Requirements
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• A Windows 10+ or Mac OS 12+ computer with design software installed.
• Availability for team communication and project updates as needed.
