## Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to lead the migration of a complex e-commerce website for a manufacturer. This project requires expertise in LAMP stack technologies, e-commerce platforms, and ongoing maintenance.

## Key Responsibilities
- Migrate a multi-component website (main site, designer app, and database) from current hosting to Bluehost or other hosting provider
- Ensure seamless integration of all website components post-migration
- Optimize large media files for improved performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the migration process
- Collaborate with the client to ensure all functionalities are preserved
- Document the migration process and provide knowledge transfer
- Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to the website post-migration

## Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Strong proficiency in HTML programming
- Proven experience in website migrations, particularly for e-commerce platforms
- Strong knowledge of MySQL database management and migration
- Familiarity with e-commerce integrations (specifically Ecwin)
- Experience with content management systems and custom web applications
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and progress reporting
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bluehost or similar hosting platforms
- Familiarity with Zoho Sites for potential future migration
- Knowledge of SEO best practices during website migrations

## Project Details
- Duration: Initial migration (approximately 1 month) followed by ongoing maintenance
- Type: Contract/Freelance with potential for long-term engagement
- Location: Remote

## Key Project Components
1. Migrate main website (~5GB) including large video files
2. Transfer and set up custom designer web application
3. Migrate and integrate MySQL database for order tracking
4. Ensure proper functioning of dealer map and e-commerce integration
5. Verify and fix critical features like serial number lookup and contact forms
6. Provide ongoing updates and maintenance as needed

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This project requires attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
