Web Developer (Shopify Specialist)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Web Developer with strong experience in Shopify to join our team. You will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our Shopify store, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance. The primary focus will be improving the store’s design, formatting, and functionality while also handling theme customizations and plugin integrations.
The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for design, a strong grasp of CSS, and experience working with Shopify’s Liquid template language. Knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and the ability to set up tracking pixels would be a plus.

Responsibilities:
Customize & edit Shopify themes to improve aesthetics and usability.
Enhance CSS & site styling to create a visually appealing and user-friendly shopping experience.
Optimize site structure, product pages, and collections for a large e-commerce store with 500+ products and multiple variants.
Implement & manage Shopify plugins/apps to improve site functionality.
Work on formatting, images, and overall layout to ensure the best customer experience.
Improve website performance & responsiveness across all devices.
Implement tracking tools via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and add tracking pixels as needed.
Collaborate with the team (designers, marketers, and content creators) to enhance site usability and sales conversion.

Requirements:
Proven experience working with Shopify (minimum 2 years preferred).
Expertise in customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Ability to improve CSS & site styling to enhance visual appeal.
Experience handling Shopify plugins and app integrations.
Understanding of e-commerce best practices and UX/UI design principles.
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and adding tracking pixels (preferred but not required).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with Shopify Plus
Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify
Familiarity with custom app development using Shopify API
Experience with A/B testing and site conversion optimization
