Web Developer

Location: Remote

Compensation: $6 CAD/hr

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Website Developer to join our team. This position offers the flexibility to work either part-time or full-time remotely. As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing websites that are not only visually appealing but also functionally robust.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using basic HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborate effectively with team members on projects.
- Design websites with popular CMS and website builders to deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Manage domain names system setups and basic website hosting.
- Implement APIs and embeds to enhance website functionality.
- Optimize web pages for search engines using on-page SEO best practices and manage Google Search Console for monitoring.
- Create engaging visual content using graphic design software like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Produce and edit videos using tools such as Capcut, Premiere, or After Effects.
- Leverage generative AIs for innovative design and development solutions.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website development with a solid understanding of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control.
- Experience working with CMS platforms and website builders.
- Knowledgeable in the basics of domain names system setup and website hosting.
- Familiarity with using APIs and implementing embeds on websites.
- Competence in on-page search engine optimization and the use of Google Search Console.
- Strong skills in graphic design and video editing software.
- Creative and efficient in using generative AI tools.
