Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Wealth Counsel Drafter/Paralegal to join our team based on USA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in drafting legal documents within the Wealth Counsel platform, and preferably, someone familiar with CIMI process, Kids Protection Plan, and the Secure Act. As a Wealth Counsel Drafter/Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality legal documents, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Drafting & Preparation:
Draft and prepare legal documents using the Wealth Counsel platform, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity for clients.
Handle the creation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related estate planning documents.
Ensure all documents are customized according to client needs, state regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
Specialized Knowledge:
Assist in the development of estate plans that include provisions for Kids Protection Plans, ensuring all necessary documents and instructions are included for child protection planning.
Stay informed on the Secure Act and ensure retirement-related documents reflect the latest regulations and provisions related to retirement accounts.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Review and verify that all drafted documents meet legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all forms are up to date and compliant with current laws and regulations.
Conduct thorough quality checks of all documents before final delivery to clients.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with attorneys, financial planners, and other tea
Assist in addressing any questions or concerns from clients, providing clarification on legal terms or document content when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Wealth Counsel platform for drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Strong understanding of estate planning principles and document preparation.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the CIMI process and its application in legal document creation
Understanding of the Kids Protection Plan and its role in child protection within estate planning
Familiarity with the Secure Act and its impact on retirement planning and document drafting
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents and clients at once.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and comply with legal ethical standards.
