We are looking for an Intermediate Bookkeeper with at least 2+ years of Australian bookkeeping experience in a Public Accounting firm to become a valued part of our team.

Your Role:

As an Intermediate Bookkeeper, you will handle various bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, payroll, and superannuation processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Process bank transactions from Xero bank feeds, bank statements, and source documents.
Prepare client query draft emails.
Assist in preparing IAS and BAS (to be reviewed and lodged by a senior accountant).
Process payroll and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) filings.
Reconcile and process superannuation on a quarterly basis.
Prepare work papers to support Income Tax Return lodgements.
Provide admin support and ad hoc reconciliations as needed.

What Were Looking For:

Minimum 2+ years of Australian bookkeeping experience in a Public Accounting firm.
Experience with Xero (highly desirable).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
Eager to learn and adapt to new processes.
