We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Order Processing and Customer Service Specialist with an accounting background and expertise in order tracking with vendors, international logistics, pallet shipping, and small package handling. This remote position involves processing orders, providing exceptional customer service, managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and supporting international shipments. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in logistics and a strong understanding of accounting principles to ensure smooth order and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
Process customer orders accurately and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Track orders and shipments with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any discrepancies or delays.
Coordinate with vendors on purchase orders (POs) and logistics arrangements, including pallet and small package shipments.
Customer Service:
Provide top-tier customer support via
Resolve customer complaints efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.
PO and Invoicing:
Create and send purchase orders to vendors as needed.
Generate accurate customer invoices and ensure timely processing.
Follow up on overdue invoices and assist in collections when necessary.
Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR):
Manage incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping.
Assist with accounts payable processing and ensure timely vendor payments.
Monitor AR and assist in the collection process as needed.
Logistics & Shipping Management:
Coordinate international shipments, ensuring proper documentation, customs clearance, and on-time delivery.
Knowledge of shipping logistics, palletizing, and managing small package shipments.
Communicate with vendors, shipping companies, and customers regarding shipping updates, tracking information, and any potential issues.
Qualifications:
Accounting background with a good understanding of financial processes, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
Proven experience in order processing, customer service, and basic accounting functions.
Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Experience in order tracking, logistics, and shipping, including pallet and small package handling.
Knowledge of international logistics, customs, and shipping documentation.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and order management software.
Experience with invoicing systems, ERP tools, or accounting software is a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Working Hours:
This remote role offers flexible hours and will require you to work Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM Philippines local time.
