Video Editor VA for YouTube Long-Form & Short-Form Content

**Job Description**:

We are looking for a **creative, experienced, and highly motivated video editor** to join our team! You'll be editing **comedic, light-hearted martial arts storytime videos** where I sit down and in front of a green screen and talk about an experience that happened in my martial arts journey. The role includes editing for **16:9 YouTube long-form videos** and repurposing them into **9:16 short-form content** for TikTok and other platforms.

Your job will be to bring these story telling videos to life by chopping up these videos concisely and incorporating **humorous images, memes, and relevant videos** as visual reinforcement. The ideal candidate is proficient in **Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut**, has experience with **green screen editing**, and possesses a strong understanding of **current memes, trends, and young humor - this is VERY important**. The humor in this video has to be relatable and comedic to people aged 13-24.

### **Responsibilities**:

- Edit **7+ videos per week** (each 1.5–6 minutes in length).
- Create engaging edits, including **green screen removal** and overlaying appropriate images and videos related to what I am talking about.
- Add **classic** autocaptions to each video, ensuring proper English is used
- Repurpose 16:9 videos into 9:16 short-form content for TikTok and similar platforms - this should be a simple task.
- Use creativity and intuition to choose memes and visuals that align with the tone and story.
- Ensure timely delivery: videos are sent on **Wednesdays and Thursdays (estimate)**, with final edits of all videos due by the following **Tuesday**.
- Maintain communication via **WhatsApp** and promptly address revision feedback.

### **Requirements**:

- **Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut** (experience in both is a plus).
- **Experience with green screen editing and background removal**.
- Strong knowledge of **current memes, trends, and young humor**.
- Creativity and intuition to match visuals with the narrative (please check the video example for reference).
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Long-term availability and willingness to adapt to growing demands.

### **Compensation**:

- **$8 per video**, with a guaranteed **7 videos per week** minimum.
- Additional videos will be paid at the same rate, with opportunities to increase workload as we grow.
- This is a **long-term role** with consistent weekly projects.
- Bonuses for high quality work.
