Virtual Medical Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Research Assistant to join our growing team. This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical research and a strong work ethic.

Location: Remote (US-based hours)

Hours: Part-time (Flexible, approximately 20 hours per week), progressively to full-time position if interested

Responsibilities:

Assist with literature reviews and data collection using various online databases (PubMed, Google Scholar, etc.)

Data entry and management using spreadsheets and specialized software.

Assist in the preparation of research protocols, manuscripts, presentations, and grant proposals.

Maintain accurate and organized research records.

Schedule and coordinate virtual meetings.

Communicate effectively with research team members.

Other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, pre-med, public health) preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered. Final year students are allowed.

Strong understanding of medical terminology and research methodologies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience with literature review and data analysis a plus.
