Position: Virtual Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Virtual Medical Billing and Coding Specialist with a solid background in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and OB-GYN billing. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately code diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding claims.

Work closely with AR specialists to resolve denied or rejected claims.

Perform charge entry and payment posting.

Manage patient billing, including generating statements and processing payments.

Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and coding guidelines.

Conduct regular audits to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.


Requirements:

Verifiable US medical billing and coding experience – particularly in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and OB-GYN.

Valid and verifiable certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, etc.).

Expertise in Revenue Cycle Management and AR follow-up.

Familiarity with major insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid billing procedures.

Experience with EHR and practice management software.

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with multiple EHR systems.

Experience working with both in-network and out-of-network billing.

Knowledge of value-based care and quality reporting.
