JOB OVERVIEW

Reliance Moving Solutions, a licensed and insured moving company based in Spring Grove, PA, is seeking a Virtual Marketing Assistant to join our team. We serve York, Hanover, Gettysburg, and surrounding areas, specializing in packing & unpacking, relocation & long-distance moving, and piano, safe, & heavy item moving services.

As a Virtual Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and implementing SEO strategies. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and attention to detail to effectively connect with our audience and promote our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a content calendar with all posts submitted for approval at least one week in advance.
• Follow a 7-day-a-week posting schedule, including:
• Monday (#MovingMythMonday): Debunk common moving myths.
• Tuesday (#TuesdayMovingTips): Share moving tips for an easier process.
• Wednesday (#WorkWithUsWednesday): Highlight a teaUpgrade to see actual infomber with a bio and photo (if no employee is available, use alternative post ideas).
• Thursday (#MovingMadeSimple): Post a weekly blog or Canva advertisement.
• Friday (#FAQFriday): Answer common moving questions.
• Saturday (#SmoothMoveSaturday): Share pictures/posts of a move from the week (if no job is available, use alternative post ideas).
• Sunday (#SpotlightSunday): Feature a local business or neighborhood.
• Utilize ChatGPT for content writing and SEO optimization, setting it up with key company details.
• Ensure all captions include service areas, services offered, and company contact information.
• Use Meta Business Suite for scheduling posts on Facebook and Instagram, and manually post on Nextdoor, Yelp, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Alignable at designated times:
Facebook & Instagram: 9 AM
• Yelp & Google Business Profile: 9 AM
• Nextdoor: 9 AM
• LinkedIn: 8–10 AM
• TikTok: 8–10 AM
• Alignable: 9 AM

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in social media marketing, particularly in service-based industries.
• Strong understanding of SEO strategies for social media.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, and TikTok for content creation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable internet connection and availability to post at scheduled times.

Additional Opportunities:

Based on your performance in this role, there may be opportunities to expand into sales using our CRM system, which could include:

• Making calls before the move to review the inventory list and verify all information.
• Following up with customers from the most recent move a day or two after completion to conduct survey questions regarding their moving experience with Reliance Moving Solutions.
• Answering incoming calls, reaching out to potential customers, and creating estimates based on your experience.
