Position Overview:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll start by mastering the basics of how we perform our logistics and freight coordination responsibilities, which include: developing and maintaining relationships with carrier partners, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely delivery. All while learning about our company operations, team culture and values. This will grow into a supervisory role, where you will have the opportunity to manage and coach other VA tea
Key Responsibilities:
• Know and exemplify our Company Core Values.
• Meet and exceed margin targets and performance metrics.
• Coordinating freight shipments from pickup to delivery.
• Communicating with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Uncovering capacity and booking carriers on shipments.
• Negotiating rates with carriers to secure the best options for freight movement.
• Monitoring shipment schedules, resolving delays, and providing status updates.
• Managing and updating shipments in tracking systems.
• Collaborating with teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Analyzing data to identify efficiencies and improve processes.
Carrier Sales-Specific Responsibilities:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, by providing excellent service and support.
• Sourcing and securing carrier capacity for available loads.
• Identifying reliable carriers to meet customers' specific shipping needs.
• Handling rate negotiations and ensuring margin targets are met.
• Tracking and resolving carrier performance issues to ensure service excellence.
• Proactively communicating with carriers about load details, changes, and updates.
Growth Path:
• Develop expertise in logistics coordination and carrier sales.
• Take on leadership responsibilities by managing a growing virtual team.
• Assist in training and onboarding new tea

The ideal candidate would also have experience managing & coaching Virtual Assistants.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in USA-based logistics, carrier sales, or freight coordination.
• Proficiency using Transportation Management Systems (TMS). (Ideally McLeod)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Zoom, and CRMs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
• A problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
• High level of motivation, persistence, and a positive attitude.

• Reliable internet connection and a dependable up-to-date dedicated home office setup.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• Experience working with US-based companies in logistics or transportation.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with freight brokerage operations.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
• Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, forty-to-fifty-hour role, with varying shifts of 8, 10, or 12-hour days, Monday through Friday. Your schedule will vary depending on the workload. Working hours fall between 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM Philippine Time (PHT) or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The majority of time, you will be scheduled for a 40 Hour work week, with the ability to make over time pay over 40.
