ABOUT US

Two Broads Go Abroad is a travel blog chronicling the adventures of two best friends exploring the world. We inspire women to travel with their best friends, before moving into seasons of marriage and motherhood.

Alongside our blog, we run a Substack newsletter (Broadly Speaking), an Etsy shop, Fiverr gigs, and a growing social media presence.

We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help us manage and expand these platforms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Management:
• Assist with drafting, editing, and scheduling blog posts and Substack newsletters.
• Research travel trends, SEO keywords, and potential blog topics.
• Create and format visually appealing content using Canva or similar tools.


Etsy Shop & Fiverr Support:
• Manage product listings, including writing descriptions and uploading photos.
• Handle customer inquiries and orders efficiently.
• Brainstorm new product or gig ideas aligned with our brand.


Social Media Management:
• Create, schedule, and engage with content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
• Monitor analytics to recommend content strategies and improve engagement.
• Stay updated on social media trends to keep our accounts fresh and relevant.


Administrative Tasks:
• Organize and maintain editorial and content calendars.
• Manage email communications and partnerships.
• Track expenses and revenue from various platforms.


Creative Collaboration:
• Contribute ideas for blog posts, newsletter topics, and social media campaigns.
• Assist with planning and executing marketing initiatives, such as giveaways or collaborations.


QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be familiar with the world of travel blogging
* Familiarity with blogging platforms (WordPress preferred) and other content platforms (e.g., Substack, Medium).
* Experience with Etsy, Fiverr, and/or similar marketplaces is a plus.
* Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, Meta).
* Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organized
* Passion for travel and understanding of our target audience is a major bonus!
