Job Description: Virtual Assistant for Short-Term Rental Business
Job Type: Part-Time

Location: Remote

Salary: The hourly rate is based on experience and qualifications.
Working Hours: Seeking a candidate who can work 4-5 hours per day. While the schedule is flexible, prompt responses to guest inquiries and efficient task management are required. Ideally, your working hours should align with the host’s availability.

Description:
We are a newly founded short-term rental business, excited to grow and expand seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the short-term rental or hospitality industry and be capable of managing various administrative tasks, guest communications, and day-to-day operations remotely.

As a Virtual Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
? Guest Communication: Respond to guest inquiries promptly via email, phone, or messaging platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Upgrade to see actual info, VRBO) and ensure a high level of customer service.
? Reservation Management: Manage bookings, update calendars, handle cancellations and modifications, and ensure all reservations are accurately recorded.
? Coordination with Cleaners and Maintenance Staff: Schedule and coordinate cleaning and maintenance services between guest stays to ensure the property is always in top condition.
? Listing Management: Update property listings with accurate and appealing descriptions, photos, and pricing. Monitor listings for accuracy and optimise them to improve visibility and bookings.
? Social Media Management: Assist with creating and scheduling social media content to engage potential guests and promote our properties.
? Bookkeeping and Record-Keeping: Maintain records of expenses, guest payments, and other financial transactions. Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks as required.
? Problem-Solving: Handle guest issues or complaints efficiently and professionally, coordinating with on-the-ground teams when necessary.
? Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on occupancy rates, revenue, guest feedback, and other key metrics to help us improve our services.

Requirements:
? Experience in the short-term rental or hospitality industry (preferred)
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
? Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
? Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Airbnb, Upgrade to see actual info, VRBO) and
tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Trello, Slack, and Zoom
? Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
? Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanour
? Basic bookkeeping skills and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
is a plus
? Reliable internet connection and a home office setup conducive to remote work
