We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team part-time. This is a flexible role with room to grow, ideal for someone who enjoys creative work, thrives on variety, and is passionate about contributing to multiple projects.
The majority of your tasks will revolve around content creation, lead generation, and research. You’ll also support with editing, organizing, and preparing materials for our websites, blogs, and marketing initiatives. Your ability to write, create, and refine content while thinking strategically will be key to your success in this role.
You’ll work primarily with me, Lucas, across my business ventures, with occasional tasks supporting my wife Jenny’s naturopathic medical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
Write and edit blog posts, articles, and
Generate and organize ideas for marketing content and promotional materials.
Create visually appealing graphics using tools like Canva (or similar) for social media, blogs, and marketing materials.
Develop engaging captions and content for social media platforms.
Assist in creating and refining presentations, workbooks, and eBooks.
Lead Generation and Outreach:
Research and identify potential leads in target industries.
Organize and manage lead databases.
Draft and send personalized outreach
Monitor responses and track the success of campaigns.
Research and Strategy:
Conduct thorough research on various topics, such as:
Industry trends and market opportunities.
Content ideas that align with our brand and target audience.
Potential partnerships, collaborations, or promotional avenues.
Analyze competitor websites, blogs, and social media for inspiration and insights.
Website and SEO Support:
Review and suggest updates for our six websites:

Optimize blog posts and website content for SEO using appropriate keywords and formatting.
Organize multimedia elements (e.g., videos, photos) for integration into websites and marketing materials.
Photo/Image Creation and Editing:
Use tools like Canva or Photoshop to create branded visuals for various projects.
Edit and enhance images for use across digital platforms.
Generate unique visuals (including AI tools if applicable) for social media and blogs.
Administrative and Project Support:
Manage
Maintain a task tracker and project updates using our tools (Signal, Blue).
Prepare reports, summaries, or presentations as needed.
Support the organization and management of content libraries and files.
Qualifications:
Experience in content creation, writing, editing, and social media management.
Proficiency with tools like Canva, Google Suite, and content management platforms.
Familiarity with SEO and online marketing strategies.
Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Basic knowledge of image editing and design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, or AI-based tools).

Additional Information:
This role is part-time to start but may transition to full-time based on performance and project needs.
Most work will be independent, but collaboration will occur via Signal and Blue for communication and task tracking.
You’ll primarily work with Lucas but may occasionally support Jenny’s naturopathic medical practice.
