About Navy Nuke Network

The Navy Nuke Network is a veteran-led media platform and career pipeline built to support a very specific and elite group of military veterans: U.S. Navy Nuclear-trained sailors, commonly known as “Navy Nukes.” These are highly trained technicians and operators responsible for managing and maintaining nuclear propulsion systems aboard submarines and aircraft carriers. Their technical experience is unmatched, yet many civilian employers remain unaware of their value.

Our mission is to bridge that gap through weekly video content, podcast episodes, and social media outreach—helping Navy Nukes transition into high-impact civilian careers while educating employers and the public about their capabilities.

To keep up with content demand, we are hiring two full-time teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.


Role Overview

This role combines light podcast editing, shortform video clipping, and platform scheduling. You’ll edit one podcast episode per week and create 5–7 shortform clips (15–60 seconds) to be posted on YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn. You’ll also handle uploading, scheduling, and basic social media coordination.

Key Responsibilities
• Light edit of 1 podcast per week (recorded on Riverside.fm)
• Clip 5–7 shortform videos weekly from longform and podcast content
• Edit clips in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Upload and schedule content on YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Write video titles and post captions
• Organize content files in Drive and Upgrade to see actual info
• Work with our content lead for clip direction and story angles

Requirements
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Comfortable using Riverside.fm and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Basic understanding of pacing and storytelling in shortform content
• Reliable with posting schedules and asset organization
• High-speed internet connection
• Computer capable of editing 4K content smoothly
