Position Details
Hours: Part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with performance-based bonuses for achieving growth targets.

This role isn’t for you if:

You only have experience with basic video editing or lack strategic social media management skills.
You’re looking for a temporary “side gig” rather than a focused, growth-oriented role.
You aren’t comfortable signing an NDA or prefer front-facing roles.
You rely on ChatGPT to create all your copywriting (it’s a helpful tool, but you must have some marketing/copywriting experience to be able to replicate our brand style, voice, and tone).

This role is perfect for you if:

You’re proactive and creative, with a talent for video editing and an eye for social media strategy.
You understand the role of brand voice, tone, and style in connecting with an audience and are skilled at creating content that aligns with it.
You’re data-driven, familiar with key social media metrics, and ready to suggest changes based on performance.
You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
You’re eager to contribute, grow with the company, and take ownership of the social media strategy.

Here's what the right person will love about this position:

Passion: You'll be paid to do what you already get a kick out of: learning new ways to make things work. We are open to your ideas and guidance on how to improve the business.
Flexibility: You’ll join a small tight-knit company that can pivot quickly, improve rapidly, and have maximum impact. You'll also get to do your work from anywhere: your living room, the coffee shop, a hotel pool...
Impact: You'll be part of a mission-driven company that empowers kids to embrace their unique creative spark, develop their artistic skills, and boost their confidence. You’ll have a direct role in changing the lives of thousands.

Our Team Values:

Dedication: Hungry for achievement despite challenges.
Compassion: We are our customer’s biggest cheerleaders/supporters. We show empathy to understand and improve the customer experience, and we celebrate their wins along with them.
Impact: Fanatical attention to detail and consistency. You realize that every task you complete has an impact on the team and/or customer. If you’re not sure how it does, then you ask.
Whatever It Takes: Resourcefulness. All hands-on deck during launches because the whole team takes responsibility for the most important revenue events of the company.
Innovation: Carefully-crafted, focused innovation. Constantly learning and improving. Moving very quickly to keep up with the fast pace of change. Ability to shift tasks or focus quickly without wasting time or resources.
Proactive Ownership: We don’t just identify problems—we own them. We take the initiative to solve challenges, improve processes, and contribute to the company’s growth without waiting for direction. Our team believes that every member has the power to make a positive impact, and we each step up to ensure success.

At Kids Cartoon Academy, we empower kids to embrace creativity, build confidence, and create art they’re proud of. Through engaging lessons, we support parents in fostering their children’s artistic development, helping kids ages 6-14 connect with their unique creative voice.

Our Founder: Daniel Grissom, artist and educator, built Kids Cartoon Academy from scratch with a vision of making art fun, accessible, and transformative for kids everywhere. He’s committed to providing an environment where kids feel inspired and supported to develop their talents.

If you’re ready to take on a role with growth potential, love visual storytelling, and want to support a creative mission, this just might be the perfect position for you!
