Video Editor for YouTube Educational Videos

Relay Room, the parent company of the Miracle Familie, Miracle Homes and Type Design Asia, are seeking an experienced and versatile Video Editor to manage the operational execution of our social media platforms, marketing channels and oversee the editng and production of compelling content across multiple platforms

This person should be passionate and driven with expertise in long-form videos, vertical short formats in a variety of styles (not just talking heads), have a good eye for creating thumbnails and IG covers, and have strong operational strategy. If you have a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for video content, we'd love to hear from you!

We are looking for a committed Part-Time Video Editor who is able to commit at least 4 hours on a daily basis (20h a week). You will need to work flexible working hours. However to begin with we will start on a deliverable basis of $75 per set of videos (x1 10-15mins long form, 2-3 highlights 20-30s each for IG/TT/YT Shorts) to ensure that you understand the style and our required rhythm of work

Compulsory work for Gig arrangement:
1) Editing of Podcast Videos, Youtube Videos or Home Tour Videos (Long form) for brevity, impact and humour, final videos will be 10-15mins in length, some may be shorter around 5-8mins. Creation of all necessary Video Thumbnails for multiple formats (Horizontal and vertical) in Canva.

2) Cut 30-90s highlights from each Podcast Episode into 9:16 vertical format, at least at 4-5 highlights per video that will be edited specifically for IG Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts i

Basic Color grading and toning should be done in 1) to enhance the video before doing 2).

Only when offered to the part-time role:
3) IG Reels / TT / YT Shorts Creation - need to be able to understand short form content and how to use trending audio and trends

4) FB Ad Video Editing - need to be able to add supers, use stock footage where needed, basic animation and editing tricks to keep attention

5) Producing, Scripting, YouTube SEO, and other digital product creation skills would be a BONUS and should be highlighted in the form with portfolio examples.
