Position: Video Editor
Type: Part-Time (4–6 hours daily)
Schedule: Tentative hours between 2 PM – 8 PM EST (final schedule to be determined upon hire)

About the Role:
We are a dynamic news outlet looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging and high-quality video content daily. Your role will involve editing video content to accompany provided audio and headlines, with a focus on USA news, Jewish news, Israeli news, and USA politics. This position requires flexibility, creativity, and the ability to adapt to breaking news updates later in the day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit daily video content based on provided audio and news headlines.
- Research and source relevant footage for various news topics, including USA news, Jewish news, Israeli news, and politics.
- Communicate with the client to identify and acquire additional footage or resources as needed.
- Adhere to specific editing guidelines, including blurring out females in video footage per the news group’s policies.
-Adjust focus and content pace to reflect breaking news developments.

Requirements:
- Proficient video editing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong research abilities to locate relevant footage quickly.
- Familiarity with USA news and a willingness to adapt to Jewish and Israeli news topics.
- Exceptional time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for seamless client coordination.
- Flexibility to work during assigned hours and adjust to changing priorities.
