Video Editor for Meta Ads E-Commerce

Job Description: We are an established US based natural haircare brand looking for a talented Video Editor to join our growing team. You’ll be working with a fast-paced, creative team and producing Meta ads, UGC mashups, VSLs, testimonials, and hook/copy variations for performance-driven campaigns. We are a team of 6 and rapidly growing. This is a remote position with long-term potential and immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit 10-15 video ads per week for Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
This can be anything from 30-second UGC ads to 5 minute storytelling ads
Be able to come up with ad ideas on your own and execute + make videos based on scripts/briefs from our creative strategist
Source authentic looking footage or create AI footage
Deliver multiple variations (hooks, formats, cutdowns, captions)
Cut together UGC, B-roll, and VO into high-converting short-form ads
Create attention-grabbing intros and fast-paced edits that follow direct response structure
Light motion graphics or text animation (e.g. captions, arrows, highlights)
Iterate on top-performing ads to combat fatigue (new hooks, styles, CTA cuts)

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a FB ads / direct response video editor
Proven experience editing DTC/direct response ads (please include portfolio)
Fast turnaround time, able to hit weekly deliverables
Deep understanding of what makes a high-converting ad
Proficient in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of ad performance metrics (hook rate, CTR, 3-second views)
Past experience with E-Commerce brands
Highly organized and self-motivated
Fast & reliable internet connection (with backup power recommended)
