Video Editor for Instagram Reels

We need someone full-time (starting at 30 hours per week and sure to increase to 40), to help produce short-form Instagram Reels videos from our raw videos. Sometimes we may need you to edit long-form content for Youtube, or design static Instagram posts. You must be able to work regular business hours in US Eastern time while in training, though this can be more flexible once you are fully onboarded. WE DO NOT WANT MEDIOCRE EDITING, WE NEED SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO DO NICE TRANSITIONS, UNIQUE EFFECTS AND IS CREATIVE AND KNOWS HOW TO CAPTURE A VIEWER!

Perks:
- Full Time work with paid holidays and 13th month pay
- We are very patient and understanding, if re-edits need to be made, we will treat you with respect and ask you to change it in a timely fashion.
- Time off if needed, just let us know in advance.

Pay:
- Starting rate is $6-7/hr, depending on your experience and skill
- Pay range is listed asUpgrade to see actual infobecause the lowest starting rate is $6/hr for 30 hours per week, ($720/month), and the highest rate is $7/hr for 40 hours per week ($1120)
- Raises over time for being a consistently great worker

Requirements:
- Must know how to edit using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Capcut pro, or any other advanced editing software (not Windows Movie Maker or iMovie)
- Must have excellent understanding of written English: you must be able to catch and fix typos and grammatical errors.
- Must know how to use special transitions and possibly have some to use already on their computer.
- Must know how to add text to videos and create captions/subtitles
- Should know how to add music, fade out music, separate audio from video, add multiple audio files to different videos, and match beats in music with transitions in video.
- Should know how to speed up videos and slow them down.
- Must have already created edits for other people or for themselves they can show me.
- Should know how to remaster audio (we will teach you to use Adobe Podcast if needed)
- Any other talents with editing is a huge plus and please write in your application.
