JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a versatile Video Editor to produce high-performing video ads for Facebook. This role involves not only video editing but also sourcing engaging video clips from various online platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and beyond. The ideal candidate should have scriptwriting experience to craft compelling narratives and be open to using translation tools like DeepL for market-specific content. Weekly meetings are required to review ad performance, content strategies, and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Create high-quality video ads optimized for Facebook, using best practices to capture social media engagement.
Content Sourcing and Mash-Ups: Source relevant video clips from across the internet (e.g., TikTok, YouTube) and blend them creatively to build story-driven ads.
Script Writing: Draft persuasive and concise scripts for video ads and VSLs (experience in scriptwriting is a plus).
AI Voice and Localization: Utilize AI-generated voices when suitable and adjust content for different markets, using DeepL (training available).
Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on Facebook ad trends, popular styles, and techniques from platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
Creative Variation: Produce multiple ad variations for A/B testing, experimenting with captions, formats, and effects to optimize performance.
Weekly Reporting: Share weekly updates on video ads and provide insights on creative strategies and performance.
Requirements:

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
Experience creating Facebook video ads with a good understanding of social media engagement.
Ability to source and creatively combine content from various online platforms.
Desirable: Experience with scriptwriting, AI voice tools, and VSL creation.
Familiarity with DeepL for translations or a willingness to learn.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and fluency in English.
Creative, adaptable, and able to think outside the box to craft engaging content.
Weekly Meetings: One-hour weekly meeting to discuss ad performance, content sourcing, and creative strategy.
