Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Video Editor to create and refine engaging video content for our advertising campaigns and organic social media presence. The ideal candidate will have experience editing UGC and be adept at transforming raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that resonate with our audience. Strong communication skills and a resourceful approach to asset management are essential, as well as a proactive attitude towards content production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit UGC videos and organic content for use across various platforms, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize and produce video content that enhances our eCommerce presence and drives engagement.
- Asset Management: Efficiently manage and organize video assets, including footage, graphics, and audio, to streamline the editing process and maintain an organized content library.
- Graphic Design (Bonus): Utilize graphic design skills to create or enhance visual elements within videos, such as overlays, lower thirds, and animated text.
- Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with the team, providing updates on project status and addressing any feedback or revisions promptly. (
- Quality Control: Review and proofread video content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards before final delivery.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging techniques to bring fresh ideas and approaches to our video content strategy.
- TimeProof: Utilize the timeproof function to help stay on course and maintain integrity with the brand.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in video editing, particularly with UGC and social media content. A portfolio showcasing your previous work is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with tea
- Resourcefulness: Ability to manage and utilize available assets effectively, finding creative solutions to enhance content quality.
- Proactivity: A proactive approach to content production, with a drive to continuously improve and innovate.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing polished, high-quality videos.
