DM Digital is a fast-growing digital marketing agency specialising in SEO, PPC, and social media marketing for clients in Australia and the USA. We create high-performing digital campaigns that drive engagement, leads, and conversions across multiple platforms.
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator who knows how to create high-converting, engaging video content for advertising and organic growth. If you don’t have experience crafting ad-ready videos optimised for different social platforms, this role is not for you.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time based on performance.
Who We're Looking For
This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who can take raw video content and transform it into vibrant, engaging marketing material for reels that capture attention and drives results. You must have a deep understanding of social media algorithms, content trends, and platform-specific best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing for Ads & Organic Content: Cut, trim, and enhance raw footage to create scroll-stopping, high-converting videos.
Creative Enhancements: Add transitions, effects, overlays, animations, and text to elevate video quality and audience engagement.
Platform-Specific Optimisation: Adapt videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok,
Advertising-Focused Video Editing: Create high-converting ad creatives designed for
Content Repurposing: Optimise long-form content into short, engaging clips suitable for different platforms.
Copywriting & Caption Creation: Write engaging, high-converting captions and strategic hashtags that increase reach and engagement.
Content Scheduling & Management: Use Buffer to schedule video content across multiple social media platforms.
Trend Monitoring & Implementation: Stay ahead of social media trends, viral video formats, and platform algorithm changes to create relevant, engaging content.
Thumbnail & Visual Design: Create compelling thumbnails and static images for video content to maximise click-through rates.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong video editing skills with experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
Proven experience in creating high-converting video ads for
Ability to add text overlays, motion graphics, and effects to enhance video engagement.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
Experience with Buffer or similar scheduling tools to manage content across multiple platforms.
Excellent copywriting skills- ability to craft compelling captions, CTAs, and strategic hashtags.
Ability to optimise video content for each platform, ensuring best aspect ratios, durations, and formats.
Knowledge of
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
