Video Editor (Short & Long Form)

Can you slice, dice, and spice a raw video into a binge-worthy masterpiece that makes people stop scrolling and start watching?

I'm on the hunt for a highly-skilled, creatively-driven Video Editor who knows how to tell a story through the screen—fast-paced, engaging, personality-packed content that makes viewers feel like they’re watching Netflix, not just another sales video.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Editing both short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content (YouTube videos, VSLs, podcasts, interviews, webinars, etc.)
- Adding animated captions, sound effects, and video transitions that elevate the viewing experience
- Enhancing video with music, Upgrade to see actual infos, and TV/movie clips to add humor, drama, and ?spice? (think: TikTok trends meets master storyteller)
- Trimming out awkward pauses, filler words, and fluff to keep things tight and engaging
- Creating scroll-stopping hooks and structuring videos to maximize viewer retention
- Crafting attention-grabbing thumbnail or video covers
- Collaborating on creative direction and vibe to match the brand tone + audience

You're A Fit If:
- You have experience editing content for digital creators, influencers, brands, or online entrepreneurs
- You’re fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (bonus points if you know CapCut or Descript too)
- You understand storytelling and pacing—you don’t just cut clips, you craft experiences
- You keep up with current trends on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube
- You understand the art of retention editing
- You’re reliable, communicative, and open to feedback and iteration
- You have a portfolio or samples that show your ability to edit with personality
