Video Editor Position - Full-Time YouTube Channel ($600 USD/month)

We create fishing, gear review, and fishing tech content on our channel (www.youtube.com/alextimm). Please review our content to understand our current style - you'll be starting with similar content while helping us grow and evolve. We're seeking a skilled editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, professional videos.

REQUIRED APPLICATION COMPONENTS:
(Applications missing any component will not be considered)

PORTFOLIO (Most Critical)
- Links to your top 3 YouTube videos you've edited (10+ minutes each)
- For each video, briefly describe:
--- Your specific role/contribution
--- Why you're proud of it
--- Technical elements used (b-roll integration, effects, etc.)

*Note: We're especially interested in product reviews, talking head + b-roll combinations, and footage transformed into cinematic stories


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Confirm you have:
--- Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
--- Computer specs (CPU, RAM, Graphics Card)
--- Internet speed test screenshot (from speedtest.net)
--- 1TB+ available storage


AVAILABILITY & COMMITMENT
- Proposed 8-hour work window (in both your local time AND US Central)
- Confirm you can:
--- Work Monday-Friday consistently
--- Provide daily project updates
--- Handle large file transfers (5GB-800GB)


COMPENSATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT
- Confirm you understand:
--- $600 USD/month starting salary
--- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
--- 28 paid days off annually (18 floating + 10 PTO)

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency - required as footage will be pre-edited into project files
- Adobe After Effects experience for advanced effects and motion graphics
- Proven track record editing long-form YouTube content (not just shorts)
- Strong communication skills with daily updates during active projects
- Reliable high-speed internet for handling large file transfers (5GB-500GB per project)
- High-performance computer with minimum 1TB available storage
- Exceptional attention to detail in both visual and audio elements
- Experience with multi-camera editing, audio syncing, and background removal
- Ability to maintain organized project files and follow established workflows
- Commitment to consistent work hours and clear communication

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Advanced audio editing and level maintenance
- Motion graphics and text animation
- Seamless transition creation
- Strategic B-roll placement
- YouTube content optimization
- Project management tool experience (Trello)
- Frame.io familiarity (or willingness to learn)
