Video Editor (Online Course Content) – Remote

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to help edit and refine content for our RedefinHER online course. This course is designed to empower women navigating life transitions, particularly after divorce, and your role will be crucial in ensuring that the videos are polished, engaging, and impactful. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, understands educational and motivational content, and can create a professional yet inspiring visual experience.

Responsibilities:

Edit high-quality course videos, ensuring smooth pacing and engagement
Remove errors, pauses, and unnecessary footage while maintaining a natural flow
Add transitions, text overlays, subtitles, and branding elements to enhance learning
Optimize audio quality (removing background noise, improving clarity, balancing levels)
Ensure a consistent visual and audio style throughout all course modules
Format videos for an online course platform (Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, etc.)
Incorporate intro/outro elements, slides, and supporting visuals as needed
Manage feedback and revisions efficiently to meet deadlines
Requirements:

Proven experience editing educational, online course, or coaching content (Portfolio required)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
Strong storytelling and pacing skills for instructional content
Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with course objectives
Understanding of engagement techniques for online learning
