About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our team full-time. You will be responsible for editing videos for social media, music projects, podcasts, and other video content, as well as creating engaging thumbnails and graphics. Familiarity with Adobe products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and CapCut is essential, as these are the primary tools we use. We also use Slack for team communication and Notion for project management, so experience with these platforms is important.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), music projects, podcasts, and other video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
- Apply creative storytelling techniques, music, and visual effects to align with the brand’s style.
- Design visually appealing and click-worthy thumbnails, banners, and graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Organize and manage raw footage to ensure an efficient editing process.
- Collaborate with the team to understand the vision and goals for each project.
- Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring correct dimensions, formats, and resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with the team using Slack, and stay organized using Notion for project tracking and task management.
- Stay up to date with trends in video editing, social media content creation, and graphic design.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio that includes social media, music, podcast, or related video content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and CapCut.
- Familiarity with Slack and Notion for communication and project management.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and video formats.
- Excellent graphic design skills for creating engaging thumbnails and visual assets.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred:
- Experience in color grading and audio editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with motion graphics using Adobe After Effects is a bonus.

Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexible hours based on project needs.

Salary:
$800/month
