Video Editor For Product Review YouTube Channel

We are a small but growing home and kitchen review YouTube channel looking to recruit a hard-working and talented full-time video editor. The candidate needs to be extremely reliable and methodical with the availability to produce at least 7 videos per week in line with our daily publishing schedule.

Most of our videos follow a “top 5 best [product]” format in which we rate and rank the best products for a particular topic. For example “Top 5 Best Blenders”.

We will provide you with the voiceover audio file as well as the visuals for each product. You will still need to source additional stock video footage to enhance the videos (you will get access to Envato Elements), but the bulk of the visuals will already have been found for you.

The Job: You will need to carefully match the visuals with the audio to create a coherent review video for our YouTube channel. You will also need to animate the images, add transitions, and finally create on-screen commentary to add extra context for the viewer. Having a liking or some knowledge of kitchen gadgets will be an advantage for you when editing the videos, as you will have an easier time matching the visuals with the audio file and writing the on-screen commentary.

Payment is on a per-video basis (typically $20) and differs depending on the length of the video.
The bare minimum weekly quota is 7 videos per week, and for the right candidate, we can make 10+ videos available for you to edit each week, giving you a higher earning potential. We will pay you weekly to start with and may move to bi-monthly payments after the initial months, when you are fully established as our full-time video editor.

You can work at the hours that suit you and you can use any video editing software that you like as long as it can create the kind of videos we need.
