JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and creative video editor to join our brand on a long-term basis. This is not a one-off project but an ongoing role to support our brand’s evolving video content needs across various platforms. You will play a key role in producing engaging, high-quality videos by researching footage, translating creatives for diverse audiences, managing captions, and editing content—often from UGC creators—while maintaining our brand’s consistent style and tone.

Responsibilities:
- Footage Research: Source and curate relevant video footage from platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and other social media or stock libraries to enhance our content.
- Video Editing: Create polished videos with precise cuts and seamless transitions, ensuring a professional and engaging final product.
- Creative Translation: Adapt and translate video creatives into different languages or cultural contexts to connect with a global audience.
- Caption Management: Add, edit, or remove captions to improve accessibility and align with platform-specific requirements.
- UGC Editing: Edit and enhance user-generated content from creators, preserving its authenticity while aligning it with our brand identity.
- Brand Alignment: Maintain consistency in style, tone, and quality across all videos by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Independent Workflow: Work proactively with minimal supervision, managing your time and deliverables effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
- Editing Proficiency: Strong skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
- Research Ability: Experience searching for and selecting footage from platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and beyond.
- Translation Skills: Ability to adapt or translate video content for different markets (multilingual experience is a plus).
- Caption Expertise: Familiarity with creating and managing captions for video content.
- Precision: A sharp eye for detail, delivering clean cuts and high-quality edits.
- UGC Experience: Proven success in editing user-generated content to meet brand standards.
- Creativity: A knack for storytelling and a proactive approach to generating ideas.
- Portfolio: A collection of work showcasing your editing skills, especially with social media content or UGC.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality over the long term.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with brands on long-term video content projects.
- Familiarity with the brand’s industry (not required, but a bonus).
- Knowledge of optimizing videos for specific platforms (e.g., TikTok, Facebook).
