JOB OVERVIEW

We're a tight-knit team of 4, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with e-commerce and Shopify. Our award-winning creative team is expanding, and we're seeking a talented video editor to help us craft exceptional e-commerce creatives through ads, that drive sales. This role is only part-time, so full time hours are not required.

**What We’re Looking For:**

- You’re a team player
- You have 2+ years experience video editing
- You’ve produced video ads for ECommerce brands
- You’re fluent in English and are confident communicating on calls (both internally and externally)
- You’re open minded and willing to learn
- You are able to take feedback and use your initiative to manage video revisions
- You use Instagram/TikTok in your free time…sometimes you feel you spend *a bit* too much time on there - but at least you know the platform well!

**Responsibilities:**

- Day-to-day video editing of ECommerce ads for both Facebook and TikTok.
- Working with the creative team to manage revisions of existing videos and conceptualizing new creative ideas.
- Ensuring all videos are completed on time and to a high standard ready for launch.
- Keeping a pulse on TikTok and paid ads to find out what’s working for others, what’s trending etc., and incorporate this into your videos.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Strong self-QA skills to ensure creatives are mistake-free and matches creative strategist vision
- Deep understanding of Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Adobe After Effects and their ecosystem.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluency in English.

- Weekly Sync: Every Monday at 12pm ET, we all jump on a call. The purpose of this is to keep everyone aligned by reviewing important KPIs & discuss any issues or challenges anyone is facing. Also more importantly - to catch up on how everyone’s weekend went!
- Yearly retreat: Every year (normally around May-June) we’ll all fly to somewhere cool, reflect on the year so far, celebrate progress and play games!
- More ideas: As a remote team, we’re always looking for new ways to bring everyone closer. For example, our monthly Games Days and Team Lunches!
