Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor to join our team. We are an advertising agency that services e-commerce brands looking to grow with paid Facebook, Instagram and TikTok advertising. We need a video editor to create compelling video ads for our clients with some direction from the advertising account manager.


Responsibilities:
- Edit videos as per creative briefs given.
- Edit multiple versions of social media ad videos.
- Sort through raw video footage to compile usable clips.
- Colour grade clips if required.
- Search for music, videos and sound effects for some edits within our stock subscription.
- Export each version in various formats and sizes (16:9, 1:1, 9:16 etc).
- Create thumbnail graphics in Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Save all files within a specified file structure and upload them to our shared Google Drive.
- Research new video ad ideas
- Graphic Design skills are a plus.


Requirements:
- Experience editing social media ads or content
- Experience with basic animation in after effects
- Conversational English to be able to add relevant subtitles and captions to videos.


Proficient in:
- Premier Pro
- After Effects
- Media Encoder
- Photoshop


Timezone: Brisbane Australia

Working Hours: 16-20 hours per week

Pay based on experience: USD $5-10/hr
