Video Editor

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team and help us produce engaging, high-quality video content for Instagram and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to edit both long-form and short-form videos that align with our brand’s vision and goals.

Responsibilities:

Edit long-form videos (10+ minutes) for YouTube, including vlogs, tutorials, interviews, and other content types.

Create short-form videos (15-60 seconds) optimized for Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social media platforms.

Trim, splice, and arrange footage to create cohesive and compelling narratives.

Add graphics, text overlays, transitions, and effects to enhance video quality and engagement.

Sync audio, music, and sound effects to create a polished final product.

Ensure all videos are optimized for each platform’s specifications (aspect ratios, resolutions, etc.).

Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas and refine video concepts.

Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing both long-form and short-form content.

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and YouTube.

Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics is a plus.

Ability to work independently and take creative direction.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

A creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with animation or motion graphics.

Familiarity with YouTube SEO and best practices.

Knowledge of Instagram trends and algorithms.
