Our AI-powered smart importing tool enables users to aggregate all their recipes in one platform within seconds—whether those recipes came from an Instagram or TikTok video, recipe blog, cookbook, or grandma’s recipe box.

To date, over **1,500,000 unique recipes** have been imported to ReciMe. We have over **2M users**, are the **#1 grossing app in the food category in Australia**, and rank **#10 in the US**.

We're hiring a Video Editor to craft engaging, high-converting ads that drive growth and brand awareness across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

**About the Role**

We’re looking for a Video Editor to take full ownership of our paid social ad creatives from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for **researching trends, scripting engaging ad concepts, and producing high-converting video ads** for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Your work will directly impact performance marketing efforts, driving engagement, conversions, and brand growth.

**What You’ll Do**

- **Research & Ideation:** Stay on top of social media trends, competitor ads, and audience insights to develop fresh, high-performing ad concepts.
- **Scripting & Storyboarding:** Write compelling scripts and outline visuals optimized for direct response marketing.
- **Video Production & Editing:** Source content (UGC, stock, or in-house assets) and edit engaging ad creatives tailored for different platforms.
- **Testing & Optimization:** Work with media buyers to analyze ad performance and iterate on creatives to improve results.
- **Content Strategy:** Develop and refine ad creative strategies to align with business goals and audience preferences.

**What We’re Looking For**

- **Experience in performance marketing** and social media ad creation (TikTok, Meta, YouTube).
- **Proven ability to script, edit, and produce** direct-response video ads.
- **Strong understanding of ad psychology** and what drives clicks & conversions.
- **Hands-on experience with video editing software** (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Ability to **adapt to fast-changing trends** and create viral-worthy ad creatives.
- A strong portfolio showcasing ad creatives that performed well.
