Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. Your primary focus will be editing YouTube videos (long-form) and short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts). You should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and engagement strategies tailored for social media platforms. You will also be working with our social media team to help with content strategy to build our brand.
Responsibilities:
-Edit engaging and high-quality YouTube videos (10+ min) and short-form videos (under 60 sec)
-Add captions, motion graphics, effects, and transitions to enhance content
-Optimize video structure to increase watch time and engagement
-Implement fast cuts, zooms,
-Collaborate with the team to ensure videos align with branding and messaging
-Format videos correctly for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn,
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends to improve video style and strategy
Requirements:
-Proven experience editing for YouTube and short-form content
-Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
-Strong knowledge of YouTube and social media trends
-Ability to work efficiently with quick turnaround times
-Creativity in storytelling and pacing
-Basic knowledge of color correction, sound design, and motion graphics
-Portfolio or samples showcasing your editing style
-Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus):
-E-xperience with thumbnail design
-Understanding of YouTube SEO & video strategy
-Ability to repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips
