Video Editor

Airbnb Academy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team! We specialize in helping Airbnb hosts succeed through coaching, courses, and content. As a part-time video editor, you will work closely with our team to produce engaging video content for our courses, YouTube, and social media platforms.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about video editing and storytelling who enjoys the flexibility of remote work. If you excel in this role, there’s potential to transition to a full-time position and take on editing projects for our other companies, expanding your scope and career growth with us.

Responsibilities:

- Edit video content for online courses, YouTube, and social media (shorts/reels).
- Add text overlays, transitions, motion graphics, and background music to videos.
- Organize and manage video assets for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with the team to align videos with the Airbnb Academy brand.
- Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a video editor (please provide a portfolio).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects is a plus).
- Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing in video editing.
- Ability to edit videos for multiple platforms, including mobile-first formats (e.g., vertical videos for TikTok and Reels).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
